About the Event

1. Identify at least one method for monitoring clinical effectiveness.
2. Describe the common factors across treatments that are most associated with clinical change.
Dr. Tom Murray, LMFT (NC, PA, FL), LCMHCS (NC) is a forensic sexologist, AASECT certified sex therapist and counselor educator. Since 2017, he has directed Dr. Tom Murray & Associates, which is a niche practice primarily focused on sex and couples therapy, with special attention to the LGBTQ and Poly community. Previously, for more than 10 years, he proudly directed the counseling center at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts where he developed a unique specialty in supporting artists and other creative types. Currently, Dr. Murray also serves on faculty at Northwestern University where he teaches sex therapy and couple and family counseling in the Family Institute. He lives in Greensboro, NC with his two sons.
