About the Event
Del Ray Zimmerman will discuss cultural competency, health disparities, and best practices for serving the LGBTQ community. He will also provide updates about Vanderbilt’s new clinical offerings to better serve sexual and gender minorities, as well as share resources about other community providers.
Del Ray Zimmerman is the LGBTQ Health Program Manager at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He has more than 20 years of experience in non-profit management. Much of that experience has been gained with local Nashville LGBTQ-focused organizations, including Nashville Cares, GLSEN, and OutCentral Cultural Center. Del Ray received his B.S. in Communications from University of Tennessee Knoxville and has lived in Nashville for 23 years.

MUST REGISTER by Friday March 15th, 2019
Lunch and a Certificate of Attendance will be provided for attendees. Varying accrediting bodies allow for the certificate to be used as a CEU. Participants are responsible for knowing accrediting organization’s continuing education standards.
All trainings are eligible for 1 continuing education unit with The American Association for Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists.
