This workshop will provide an introduction to the transgender and DSD/Intersex clinics at Vanderbilt Univ. Children's Hospital where transgender care is available to children and adolescents <18 years of age.
Dr. Cassie Brady has a medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine. While working at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and Medical Center she developed her passion for the care of transgender and intersex/DSD youth. Dr. Brady returned to Nashville and is currently an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Endocrinology and Diabetes. Since joining the division she has worked with Dr. Najjar to develop a multispecialty DSD clinic and a multispecialty transgender clinic for children and adolescents. Her primary clinical focus is the endocrine approach to sex and gender medicine.
Dr. Jennifer Najjar is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Vanderbilt University with a speciality in pediatric endocrinology. She has been a pioneer in providing pediatric transgender care and developed a DSD and multispecialty transgender clinic for children and adolescents Vanderbilt Children's Hospital.

MUST REGISTER by Friday February 15th, 2018
Lunch and a Certificate of Attendance will be provided for attendees. Varying accrediting bodies allow for the certificate to be used as a CEU. Participants are responsible for knowing accrediting organization’s continuing education standards.
All trainings are eligible for 1 continuing education unit with The American Association for Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists.
